Stephen is an associate at the law firm of Ford & Friedman where he focuses primarily in the areas of complex divorce, custody, and other family law matters. Stephen’s experience working as a professional enables him to bring a unique perspective to the practice of law. Stephen is a licensed member of both the Nevada State Bar and the Utah State Bar.
Stephen has begun cultivating a reputation for zealous and effective advocacy for his clients. He has amassed substantial trial experience having participated in a number of trials and hearings before virtually every family court justice, and has even participated in evidentiary proceedings before the Federal District Court of Nevada on an International Hague Petition.
Stephen was raised in Provo, Utah. Stephen graduated from Brigham Young University, with a degree in political science. He received his Juris Doctor from the J. Rueben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, graduating with honors. While in law school, Stephen had the pleasure of serving as an intern for the Honorable Kent Dawson of the Federal District Court of Nevada and the Honorable Clark Waddoups of the Federal District Court of Utah. Stephen is a member of the Nevada State Bar – Family Law Section, the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
Stephen, his wife Miriam, and their two (2) children are proud to call Las Vegas their home. When not representing his clients, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family and friends, attending sporting events, and playing golf.
