conflicts, Mr. Blackmon applies the same level of attention to detail
to every family he serves.
Prior to law school, Mr. Blackmon earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, focusing his studies primarily in the areas of American literature and composition. His undergraduate studies were highlighted by being named to the Dean's List honor roll with regularity, receiving merit based scholarships, as well as being named to the inaugural Liberal Arts Student Committee.
Mr. Blackmon participated in many student organizations and legal competitions while attending law school, but he was a founding member of OutLaws, the only LGBT student organization at the Williams S. Boyd School of Law, and later served as its President. Through his participation in OutLaws, he was awarded an individual Outstanding Volunteer award by the Southern Nevada Association of Pride, Inc. (SNAPI), and SNAPI also presented OutLaws the same award for being an exceptional volunteer organization while under Mr. Blackmon's leadership.
A life-long Las Vegas resident, Mr. Blackmon takes pride in Nevada, and is dedicated to making beneficial contributions to this community. He will do everything he possibly can to ensure the families that work with him achieve the best possible outcome, inside and outside the courtroom. Whether the families working with Mr. Blackmon are nuclear or non-traditional, they can expect the highest quality representation and advocacy.
